“We were looking for a place central to BR, Hammond, and Donaldsonville and the Benton properties are perfect. Convenient to get to, but far enough off the beaten path to be super quiet and cozy. The house is super cute, clean, ceiling fans in every room, and did not smell overpoweringly of air freshener as many Vrbos tend to do. Also, the furniture was so comfortable, perfect after a day of driving in BR traffic! David was so flexible and kind in helping me when I messed up my initial……

“clean and well stocked with towels etc Beds were comfortable only issue was I couldn’t communicate with owner via vrbo app because I booked thru expedia so i called vrbo direct twice to get info on entry code Other than that place was 5 star ”

“Nice apartment for the weekend! Downtown feel, lots of dining options and walkable. Very clean apartment, everything functioned, great communication with host. It is a little loud up until around 9 pm, but nothing crazy, then as restaurants close it gets more quiet for the night. There is a railroad very close, but only heard it a few times , and didn’t wake us up at night, or at least the heavy sleepers. Easy parking. The only thing we would recommend is blackout curtains for the back……

“Tangipahoa Parish had everything my family needed while we were visiting the area. The property was clean and had all the space my family needed for a comfortable stay. We were visiting family in the area and being able to come back to our own space with small children made the trip even better. The property owner, David, was great in making sure that we had everything we needed during our stay and communicating with us before, during, and after ou visit.”

“Queen beds and twin beds were lumpy, cheap mattresses. Only one bed side table in bedroom with no lamp, had to move a no switch half broke lamp with no way to turn off except unscrewing the bulb to the bedroom. There was another no switch non working lamp occupying space in the living area too. The toilet flange sat up above the flooring, so had to put a piece of cardboard under front lip to keep it from rocking. 2 of the three smoke detectors were awol. Overall I’d say the owner is satisfied……

“My wife and I hosted something of a family retreat, complete with adult children, grandchildren, siblings and nephews. We had a great time. Here’s the best summary of our experience: our grandson said that he had an even better time than when he went to DisneyWorld.”
