Nice room for the small price. Not sure why it’s called beachside Inn. It should’ve been called streetside in. Literally on the main one-way drag. But again, for the price nothing to complain about.

Only decent thing was the good location. Dirty floors. No breakfast. Broken fan. Very loud AC. Meager hospitality. Asked for an extra pillow and they said no. Will not be back.

Apparently, there was a tournament in town, and apparently it was ok with everyone if the boys were all in a few rooms together, right next to and underneath mine, with no adult supervision. There were also very drunk people cutting through the parking lot. We should have known that it wouldn't be ideal when we checked in and another guest was demanding their money back. None of this is a good combination.

Heater is unbelievably loud. If you need the heater, you won’t get any sleep.
Other than the jet engine heater clicking on and off- 10/10.
Perfect place to crash if you don’t need heater or a/c.

Staff is really nice and helpful. Decent, large (we had the corner with 2 queens so paid a little extra), relatively clean and modern style room with flooring (no rugs which I like). Free parking in front of my room which is convenient. Good hot shower and basic amenities. There is a nice park for my dog to run around across the street with ocean access to hear the seals barking.
No breakfast but coffee in the office.
2 problems: The tv control didn't work and it took awhile to get that taken care of - after a long traveling day we just wanted to unwind and watch tv, but about an hour later it was fixed. The second issue was the gross dirty couch in the sitting area. Covered in large stains, I didn't even want my dog to sit on that thing. Please clean it or replace it. I would have given it 5 stars if not for those problems.

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the last year when I work in Crescent City and this time it was pretty rough. The good: the beds are newer and comfortable. The bad: the rooms seem to be fairly clean unless you look too hard and then you see stuff everywhere, the shower curtain was 3 inches too short so water sprayed out all over the bathroom every time I showered. The tv had to be reprogrammed and used an apple fire stick remote which has no numbers and was broken making watching tv in the room more of a headache than it was worth. They were doing some construction on the upstairs railing and walk way without anything roped off. I came out of my room to see ladders setup on either side of my vehicle with workers removing wood trim directly over my hood. They also have people that seem to live there long term, I’m guessing homeless, and they just hang out around the property. If you want a cheap room with a fairly comfortable bed and don’t care about anything else, it may be worth it. Think I’m done staying here.
