Awesome B&B in Crieff
We went based on a friend’s recommendation and were completely bowled over by the charm of hosts Paul and Helen as well as the comfort and charm of our room. The breakfast was amazing, too. Highly recommend.

Melindale's is a wonderfully relaxing B&B with an amazing host family that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. The Bluebell room with private ensuite is highly recommended as it is comfortable, spacious, and has all the comforts of home, including TV and Netflix. I would recommend Merlindale's to anyone traveling through or to Crieff. A must stay!

Stunning B&B with excellent service
The hosts made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. The B&B is beautiful and every care was taken to ensure I had a lovely stay. The room and bathroom was immaculate and the service second to none. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful Hotel and Great Hosts
The Merlindale experience starts when you arrive and meet the host Paul. He is very welcoming and cheerful. Paul explained the layout of the hotel and then showed us to our room. The room (ours was the Orchid room) was very tastefully decorated and the bathroom was large and very modern. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and warm throughout. The breakfast is excellent with lots of homemade cereal and yoghurt as well as the traditional breakfast items all of a high standard and expertly cooked by Helen, Paul’s wife. The hotel is situated just 5 minutes walk from the high street which has shops, restaurants, cafés and some bars. Paul was very helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for him. As we had an afternoon pick up to take us to Edinburgh, Paul allowed us to leave our cases and do some more exploring around town. Thank you Paul and Helen for a great stay in your beautiful hotel.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Outstanding.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were looked after very well from the minute we stepped in the door. The host, Paul, welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. There were treats awaiting us in the beautiful king-size bedroom: as well as the usual tea and coffee there was a wee dram for us in a beautiful crystal decanter and shortbread! The hosts have done an excellent job doing up the lovely old building. The decor throughout is beautiful, bright and tasteful. Our en-suite was modern and spotlessly clean as were the bedroom and breakfast room. The breakfast itself was also of an exemplary high standard re. choice and quality and service. Paul and his wife ensured that our stay was one to remember for all the right reasons.

What a lovely place. fantastic service and what a beautiful room i had. i even had a free dram of malt whisky in my room. the presentation and quality of my breakfast was outstanding. 6 out of 5 stars for sure.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast
We stayed for 2 nights whilst watching the Senior Open Golf at nearby Gleneagles. We were so impressed with all aspects of the stay. The owners were charming and so hospitable - nothing was too much trouble. The house and rooms are immaculate , the bed extremely comfortable with great bedding. So many nice touches including coffee on arrival,malt whisky in the room,home made granola and fresh fruit for breakfast and , of course, a really excellen cooked breakfast. Can't recommend enough and hope to return in the future !

Absolutely stunning rooms, with beautiful furnishings throughout. Lovely touches added to the room. Breakfast outstanding! Paul extremely tentative and pleasant. Overall excellent 5* service, so much more personal than a hotel.

Five star! Great place to stay in Crieff :)

Excellent stay
We loved our stay here. It was beautifully furnished with a big comfy bed and lots of homely touches. Paul and Helen were very welcoming and friendly and made a restaurant booking for my birthday in the new G's bistro which was very busy. Paul also recommended some walks and was happy to help out in any way that he could. We definitely recommend.

Breakfast is a legend.
This is an absolutely amazing b&b, the rooms are lovely, the owners are so friendly and so professional, the breakfast was the stuff of legend, not only plenty of it but all of it was great quality. If anyone is thinking of doing this for a living then book in and see how it should be done.

AMAZING, friendly, private, clean, affordable, thoughtful, delicious and super, super comfortable. We were headed to Crieff's Innerpiffrey Library ( A MUST SEE) and this was our second to last stop in a series of 15 stays throughout Scotland. BY FAR THE BEST!!!!

The Perfect Place/
I only stayed for one night in the Thistle room but oh was it a room. I could not have asked for better I stay in many hotels in my work life but this has outshone the best. The hosts were perfect friendly, accommodating and helpful, the lady of the house even made me a cup of tea after my long trip to greet me. I cannot recommend this Merlindale enough, the perfect place.

A great stay at this friendly B&B. Service from Paul was great and I felt very welcome. The Orchid room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. A great breakfast was provided to set me up for the day.

Stop over on the way to the Lakes.
A single overnight stay on our way from Scotland to the Lake District this was a great location. Great room and excellent advice on places to eat within easy walking distance. Paul and Helen were excellent hosts and the full Scottish breakfast was superb.

Highly recommended
Such a great stay, if you are visiting around this area I would definitely recommend staying here. The bed was more comfortable than most hotels I've stayed in (and that's saying something). The hosts were amazing and made it feel so much more homely. To top it off the breakfast was great too!

Superb B&B with great hosts
We stayed for one night in the Bluebell room which was fantastic. Hosts Helen and Paul (and their wee dog) were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The bed was very comfy and breakfast amazing! I especially loved the poached eggs. There were also lots of nice wee touches like a few drams of whisky in the room, offer of fresh drinks on arrival and a wee thing of bubble bath to make the most of the amazing bath in the room. Would highly recommend staying here and we won't hesitate to come back next time we are heading to Crieff!

A great night near the Cairngorms.
We were greeted outside by Paul who came to check that our motorbike was ok parked on the gravel and if we needed time wood to support it. Following a chat around where we’d come from and where we were heading we were met by Helen who showed us to our room and ensured we were clear on theirs policies to stay COVID secure. Our room (the thistle) was fantastic and contained everything we could have needed. After a good night’s sleep it was off to breakfast and a hearty Scottish breakfast awaited and set us up nicely for a long day ahead. I’m short, we will definitely be returning!!

I can't say enough great things about Merlindale! Paul and Helen were lovely hosts, so willing to be helpful and accommodating. They assisted us with dinner reservations as well as tips about activities in the area. Breakfasts were delicious! The house itself is beautiful and meticulously clean, located in a quiet area just a short walk from a variety of restaurants. Crieff itself is a charming town that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved Merlindale and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Great B&B
Helen and Paul are a lovely friendly couple and great hosts. The bed was so comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Great choice of breakfast too and they're happy to cook gluten free or vegan if asked. The Merlindale is just a 10 min walk into Crieff. I'd thoroughly recommended this B&B.

Fantastic friendly welcome
Excellent stay - as soon as I booked, I received a friendly, personalised email, followed up with a phone call the day before arrival to check if I had any questions or special requirements. Helen was lovely, offered us a different room when we arrived which was even better than the one we booked. We were going to a local function that evening and she offered to drive us there rather than us take a taxi. A comfortable night followed by a fantastic Scottish breakfast. Fantastic B&B, highly recommended
Absolutely fantastic! Both Paul and Helen were very accommodating through out my stay, always happy to offer assistance and nothing was too much. The accommodation was lovely with large room and bathroom. It wasn’t like staying in a B&B When going in and out of the building I didn’t feel like I was walking through someone’s home, although I new they were around should I need anything. A fresh supply of coffee and treats on a daily basis and a decanter of whisky on arrival in my room. Breakfast was a wide selection of cooked and pastries etc. I try avoid B&B normally however these guys have converted me. I will definitely be staying again when back in Crieff or surrounding area. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wiedereröffnetes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlich
