“This is my third time staying here over the last year. I have finally found a value hotel along my 15 hour travel route from the deep South to Michigan that I can be confident that I won't have a room that smells even a hint of cigarette smoke. I have always booked this hotel for 70 or under. I don't like paying more than that since I'm only there usually from late night to very early the next morning. The room is a suite, and, while dated, it is spacious and very clean. The bed is comfortable……

“The room was clean and bed super comfortable. When eating at restaurants or the pool side the staff was super slow. The food at the sports bar was below average. The steak restaurant was amazing. We would have liked to see more of a dress code for the upper end steakhouse though. Someone came in wearing a Homer Simpson tshirt and it just kills the ambiance. “The room was clean, staff was great. Seemed to be a shortage in parking, as we struggled to find a spot if we came in after dinner. The indoor pool was COLD, the room it was in was COLD. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. We got in in the evening and was woken up at 4:25 for a tornado. Not the hotel's fault but I think it would have been something to let us know the procedure. We're from the south and we get tornados but aren't able to do anything about them so……

“The only good thing about this place was the location. This was nothing like the pictures shown or the reviews. Our room was not really clean. We even found a sock in the bed. It says there’s a reclining chair but there wasn’t. Beds are hard. We were uncomfortable the whole time and checked out first thing in the morning. I don’t recommend it.”
