"This was a fun hotel with lots of character. Clean room, friendly service. Having in room microwave/fridge would be nice. Bed was comfy and shower was great. Overall we enjoyed it. "

"The hotel was very clean and amenities were great; however, the bed was too soft and oddly low. Same with the fridge shelves. The biggest complaint is that the walls were paper thin and all conversations could be heard quite clearly. Sadly, we had a double next to us, with adults who literally drank all night and talked, yelled, laughed, all night. They never shut up. The only way around it was to turn the air low so the voices could be drowned out by the fan. Will never stay at a Homewood again."

"Refrigerator not working. Lighting in pool VERY dark. Quick response for sofa bed bedding. Signs on exterior doors very small. Can’t see from car. "

"Pros: friendly staff. Nice room and view. Cons: some upper management person decided to allow a giant block of rooms that they did not have to be booked Friday morning. That evening I was not able to get into my room until 8pm, and only because I had prepaid earlier in the week. I watched dozens of travelers with reservations just get straight up turned away. Combining that with a giant block group showing up at once that even when my room was “ready” I stood in line for an hour to get checked in. Gigantic waste of money. The staff was apologetic and it’s not their fault but I’ll be registering a complaint with corporate."

"The front desk staff could definitely benefit from additional customer service training. While some interactions were fine, one particular staff member—an older woman working the front desk—was consistently unpleasant and took away from the overall experience. On a positive note, the food options were a highlight. The availability of a buffet was convenient and appreciated, and the manager seemed to make an effort to maintain consistency in that area. Unfortunately, the service at the front desk overshadowed the positives. "
