「Pros: Excellent communication from the staff. They went above and beyond to help us prior to us getting there. Within walking distance to all of Little Havana. Clean room.
Cons: strong scent of some type of cleaner in the halls and a fragrance in the room. Not great if you’re sensitive. Because it’s an older building you can hear everything in the hall and in other rooms. Hot water took a while to get warm in the shower.」

The hotel facilities are clean and comfortable. The lobby provides hot tea, iced water, and coffee throughout the day, which is a nice touch. The room was clean and well maintained, and the double-bed room actually has two large beds, which is more than sufficient for a family stay.
However, the check-in process was poorly organized, which significantly affected our experience. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and understood that check-in starts at 3:00 p.m., so we registered in advance and left...

「I stayed at the Rover over the weekend, and it was an outstanding stay. When you hear "boutique hotel without a reception," you tend to expect an affordable but impersonal experience. That wasn't the case here.
I was greeted at the property by the property manager, Emily, who was warm and welcoming from the start. She gave me plenty of recommendations on where to visit and eat, and they were genuine local picks rather than tourist traps. Although her shift ended at 7, she stayed a little longer...

「Great place to stay. The host was extremely communicative and answered all of our questions. They even went out of their way to arrange a high chair and a crib for our baby.
Everything was clean and well-maintained.
I highly recommend this place!」
