I spent most of my time hiking and photographing the beauty of the area, I was fortunate to watch the full moonrise and the sunset one hour apart from Waterrock Knob. The host Nancy gave me some tips on where to view wildlife nearby. A great area and experience at Starswept Studio,”

This condo is perfect for 2 people, clean and right in the middle of Main St. We happen to be staying here during the Apple Fest right on Main St. which was a bonus. If you stay here, you have to eat at the brewery below the condo. Great food. Thank you for the hospitality!”

“The location of this property was perfect for a weekend in Highlands - walking distance from shops and restaurants. It was a short drive to good hiking trails. The wine shop below was great; there was a lot of nice outdoor seating there.”

“Went to Fly Fish the Oconoluftee & Bradley Fork. Very private and just what I was looking for. I wish they would allow pets, my girl, a Black Lab is trained and well behaved. I mentioned to the host to place a towel hook just outside the shower to avoid it getting wet. Otherwise, it was a great stay.”

It was just cool enough that after a quick hot tub soak, we used the wood stove to get cozy. We would go again and it was perfect for the 1 night reprieve that we planned.”
