"Very spacious 3‑bedroom house. The washer and dryer were great after we finished an overnight Doubtful Sound cruise. At first our clothes were still damp even after quite some time in the dryer, but we eventually realized the lint screen needed a serious clean! There is no Wi‑Fi, but for a simple overnight stay that was fine for us."

"The host was great, and there was somebody across the road to help us with our needs. There are chickens out the back and we arrived to find fresh eggs and milk in the fridge. Both bathrooms have heaters and heated towel rails and plenty of space. The cottage is charming and there is a very large deck off to one side with a bar table and chairs. Wifi worked well. Kitchen is well equipped. House is at the end of a small village - so you feel like you are on a farm but in reality you are only a couple of blocks from everything. There is a 4 Square supermarket in the village. We received keys for the front and rear doors. Very charming and you would be happy here. Note, no tv, but wifi is good enough to stream through your device."

"The property was just lovely. Yard and gardens were immaculate and Ray was very nice and pleasant to deal with. It was fine for one nice, but very dated and rather inconvenient to have the bedroom, fridge and "kitchen" & bathroom in 3 separate rooms-you had to go outside to go between them. A moderate renovation & some updates would go a long way to making this spot extra special."

"Our family only stayed one night but it was lovely. Super comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a great view of the surrounding countryside. The breakfast supplies provided (fresh farm eggs, bread, homemade jams) were also great, especially as the location is somewhat remote. Definitely a great place to stop if you are exploring the area."

"Booked for 5 nights, stayed 1 during the peak holiday season. A number of issues around cleaning following the last guests and a loud internal water pump next to one bedroom. Far from ideal. Property wasn’t as expected for the price."
