「Nothing fancy but everything we needed.」

「Restaurants very close. We walked. Room is great for 2 people. 2 kids could sleep on the pullout couch. Appreciated the smart tv. There is a hair dryer . No laundry. Base camp is a good name for it. A place to flop after a day outside. Nice mattress. Beautiful murals on doors. I felt safe as it was right next to a bank and I noticed a police car in adjacent parking lot. 」

「The heating was not centralized and noisey. The beds were comfortable. Living room furniture was not comfortable. Almost every place we stay at has only toxic teflon pans to use. Many stay in a vrbo to avoid unnecessary toxiciy. There will be a growing movement to use safe cookware. I encourage you to lead the way. Shower was small but adequate: nice pressure and hot water. It met our needs for this stay. We really appreciated accommodation of our equest for early entry and a 2 hour extension on...

「The cottage was cosy and functional. A great location in the hills near Keystone & Mt Rushmore. Easy parking. But a bit small. Could not lay out or bags easily. The toilet cistern plunger had to be reset after each use. The bed was the biggest issue! Too "small" & soft! We kept rolling into each other! And weirdly so high we were afraid we might fall out. Back deck was lovely. Kitchen small but functional.」

「Loved this place. Would recommend. Had a slight hiccup with getting the wrong code to get into the room but was able to get a hold of the host and was in the room within 5 minutes of it happening. When things don't go as planned, having it solved quickly makes it better as it shows the host cares and is attentive. Shower was incredible and linens were fresh and soft. Pull out sofa was comfortable. Location was good as well and after a long day driving was nice to be able to walk to a few...

「I loved the location of this historic building. I was there for an extended stay and felt so comfortable here. The room, although smaller, was perfect for my stay. Very comfortable bedding and always enough hot water. A movie theater, a dozen eating establishments, and many cute shops all within a 5 minute walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly. 」
