“A really unique and cozy stay close to attractions, the dunes, and a small beach. The fireplace was a big draw for me in the listing so I was disappointed to read it wasn't functional but everything else was great. The stove didn't work but the owner offered to have it serviced while we were there or to bring over a toaster oven. She was very responsive and I'd stay there again for sure! The outdoor areas are superb and the beds were super comfy.”

“From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured — actually, even better in person. The location is unbeatable: just steps from the sand, with breathtaking ocean views from the deck.Every detail was thought of — from the fully stocked kitchen (we even found a blender for our morning smoothies) to the soft, hotel-quality linens. We loved waking up to the sound of waves and ending the evenings watching sunsets……

Kitchen had everything we needed and water pressure was great after a day at the beach. Spent alot of time around the fire pit and would definitely stay here again.”

“We loved our time here.We had a great week of fishing, making fires, grilling good food, and spending time together without the noise of the world for just a little while. The area is the just the right amount of ‘remote’. Relaxing around the fire overlooking and listening to the running river was a peak experience. “We (2 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The owner provided detailed instructions for finding the place, and check in was a breeze. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rooms had comfy beds, and the kitchen was stocked for cooking some nice dinners together. Location in the woods was peaceful, but close enough for us to enjoy trips to Manistee, Travese City, and Frankfort. On the occasions we stayed in, there were fun games to play and Roku TVs……
