「The room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and there was a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The stay was let down by the breakfast. The bacon was excellent, my sausage was pink in the middle so I only ate half, the mushrooms were tinned or something similar, the tomato wasn’t cooked and the potato things were frozen. 「A lovely cosy welcoming hotel. Our room was lovely. Bed was comfy. Plenty of sockets. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice . The overhead shower was great, however the other shower head was not good, hardly any water flowing out of the shower head. I went to open the window in the bedroom and when I opened the shutter alk around the window was full of cobwebs. There was hardly any sugar or milk in the room. there is a little jug you can take to bar to fill up with milk but...

「Lots of parking. The waitress at breakfast was great and couldn't do enough for me. I stayed 2 nights, 1st breakfast perfectly cooked, the 2nd breakfast not so great. 「Disappointing all round. Room tired and shabby, plus not thoroughly cleaned. Spa showing its age (eg not all pool jets working). 30 min spa massage was actually closer to 20 mins. Emailed final bill included a “optional” service charge that could not be declined I.e not optional. 」

「This price is not worth it. We booked one night, when we arrived at the hotel, there keycard system something wrong, we got the room without keycard for few hours, really inconvenient. We went to swimming pool, though the door without keycard, so we can’t entre, we back to reception again, after that we were waiting for the leisure reception staff a long time, really angry about it.」
