We had a wonderful stay at Crown Malapascua. Just a few minutes walk from the main port and perfectly situated near the markets, restaurants, and several dive shops it’s a highly convenient place to stay in Malapascua. It is also situated on a hill and after taking a few of the big steps up towards the reception area, it feels serene and completely separated from the hustle and bustle of the road below. Hotel is also very communicative should anything arise. In our case, the owner discovered an event was relocated to the community center near the property and the noise would negatively impact our stay. She promptly let us know and offered options should we decide to seek accommodations elsewhere. We very much appreciated this, recognized it wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and opted to stay. Fortunately we can sleep through anything and knowing it was coming made it less annoying. Room is spacious, beds are comfy, AC works great, nice views of the island treetops from the balconies, and the staff are super helpful and nice. Would stay again!

Spacious, immaculate rooms, with great views (not on the beach, but you are elevated enough for a nice shot at the ocean over a jungle canopy). Attentive, professional staff. Strong A/C. In-room french press coffee/tea, snacks also available. Short walk from the pier and/or to your dive op. Close to many excellent eateries. No TV (it's the '24 US election season, so that's a blessing). 2 dozen big steps and a little path to walk up to get here (it's the highest point on the island after all). Friendly security guard hangs out all night.
