“We had a lovely stay. The Queens room, with the tub was great after a day of sightseeing. The food was great and the staff was very friendly with suggestions and just great to chat with. Would stay there again.”

“A very good budget place to stay. Bed was so comfortable it was one of my best nights sleep on my vacation. Ample parking. Walls are a little thin if you are staying close to the bar.”

“The hotel is a bit far out from the shops so unless you’re reasonably fit , you might need a car. Our room was large an good sized en suite. The other problem I would point out is that, iagain if you’re struggling with walking ,or require the aid of a stick or other walking aid there’s a lot of stairs to reach some of the rooms. My husband did struggle with them. Ideal for a one night stop over.”

“Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. Overall it’s a nice place to short stays”

“很有历史的一家酒店，也是入住后看餐厅里的资料才知道还有个鬼屋传说。闹鬼的马厩已经改装成大厅，还可以承接婚礼。周围是农场，很美，但是没有什么可转的地方。住宿的价格是非常实惠了，但是餐厅不便宜。菜做得很像样，进餐前在酒吧尝了杯scotch，好喝。”

“First off, we weren’t in the main hotel building, so I can’t comment on that other than it looked ok from reception. We were in the row of rooms to the right of of the main entrance, along the main road. A surprisingly noisy main road. The room was spacious, but stank of wet dog. Huge need for a bit of TLC to be spent improving the rooms, beds, bedding, towels, carpet etc. Definitely not worth the money spent on one night unfortunately, but this seems to be a trend with small hotels and i do……

“Sauberes Zimmer und Bad, tolles Frühstück, leider kein Parkplatz oder Haltemöglichkeit zum checkin. Somit mussten wir die Koffer weit transportieren und 2 Stockwerke hinauf tragen. Alles andere war wunderbar und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.”

“We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! “The staff here were absolutely lovely! It's a very quaint inn, just as you might imagine an Inn in the Scottish countryside would be. The room was small but functional. Ours looked out onto a sweet 'wee' courtyard. We had a glass of wine in the bar after returning from having dinner at Kingsbarns Golf club and the bartender, Cammie, was so lovely and helpful. She gave some recommendations of places to see in Edinburgh and let us sample the Irn Bru, which is a local soft drink in Scotland that's……
