Great Views & Location

It was the perfect weekend in downtown Dallas for a volleyball tournament. The location was wonderful and the townhouse was so clean and comfortable!

Great house and accommodations!

The home was just as advertised plus much more. It was very well appointed with everything you'd need for a comfy stay. The layout of the home is great and the rooftop terrace was awesome to wind down at night after a long day of exploring. Great location as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Our family enjoyed this place! They were all very impressed. We felt right at home, very comfy, very clean. Great location close to the Texas State Fair. I felt very secure within this property. I would stay in this same property again when in Dallas.

The place was perfect for what we needed. We were a group of lawyers who had a trial in Dallas fed court. We never had to get on the highway and it took us no more than 12 minutes to get to court. The kitchen/dining/living area were great as our war room. The kitchen was particularly spacious and stocked with the main necessities. The rooms all had what felt like new linens and towels, were comfortable and the AC worked great during the 100 degree week. The place fell safe and it was nice having a garage. The rooftop was fantastic to grab a view of the skyline and a beer. There are a couple of bars very close by so on the weekends, you could hear the music inside the property, particularly the main bedroom so if that will be yours and you'll be there on a weekend, bring some earplugs or a white noise machine. All and all, great stay option in Dallas if you need to be close to downtown.

You deal with an outside management company

As soon as I made my reservation and outside management company starts emailing asking for age of guest and purpose for travel. They text constantly and even if you decline insurance on VRBO you have to pay this outside company. You don’t have a choice. I think all fees should be disclosed upfront with reservation!

Cedars VRBO stay

The property is in a great location and was very clean inside. However, it was unusual that no condiments were provided except for salt and pepper. Having some coffee available would have been nice. The parking garage was also not ideal, as it could only fit a compact 4-door car. We had a truck that couldn’t fit in the garage, so we had to find street parking. Additionally, the listing claimed it could accommodate 11 people, but it only comfortably fit 8.

Extremely disappointing stay...but nice house

This stay was far from a home-away-from-home experience. Check-in was at 4 PM, and I was supposed to receive access information in advance. I didn’t, so I had to reach out around 4:45 PM to finally receive it. When I arrived, the home was absolutely filthy—not just a little dust, but a complete mess. There were dirty shoes at the entry, and the upstairs bedrooms were in disarray: unmade beds, heaps of dirty towels, hair everywhere, old food, and dirty dishes. It was clear the house hadn’t been cleaned between stays. It took two hours and multiple calls with the management company to get it resolved, with them initially insisting the house had been cleaned, despite photos proving otherwise. When the cleaning staff arrived unannounced, startling my family, they only cleaned one bedroom and bathroom, leaving the rest of the house untouched. On top of that, the entry gate was broken. I even received a call about a maintenance issue I hadn't reported. When I returned, someone was at the door requesting entry, which turned out to be a mix-up with the adjacent unit. The management company had mistakenly provided me with the neighboring unit's entry code due to a communication error. The house itself was very nice, comfortable and spacious, with an amazing view of downtown but the disorganized and chaotic handling by the management made the experience stressful, far from seamless and a chaotic instead of relaxing weekend.
