“We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Authentic vintage experience! Off course, if your are looking for a neet and sophisticate lodding, it might not be the place for you… but it was perfect for us! Very well located, near a private beach with 2 kayaks and chairs for our convinience. Also very near to the action of Boothbay Harbor that was a nice discorery! The cabin is very confortable, with everything we needed to prepare a nice meal and relax at anytime of the day. The only thing that……

“If you want QUIET, this is the perfect place. All we could hear was the sounds of the ocean. Loved waking up to the sound of boats and sea life. At high tide the deck is actually OVER the water. You seriously can’t get closer to the ocean than this. AND- they don’t cheap out on the toilet paper! 😜”

“My family of 3 daughters, spouses, and four grandchildren had a wonderful stay at Beaver Run Cabin. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen so we could make many of our own meals. We also liked the quiet, removed from the hustle and bustled.”

“The Hightide Cottage was in a great location. Was quiet, relaxing and very cute. It is nicely decorated. There was only one problem that some people might be disturbed by big black ants. But thankfully they stayed on the floor and they were slow moving so could be stepped on easily. Otherwise, it was perfect.”

“It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat……

We had a snow/ice storm and we were nice and warm and cozy! No problems getting in and out thanks to your prompt removal. We are looking forward to coming back!”

“Relaxed, peaceful, pleasantly cool, embedded in nature. Day trip into Boothbay for kayaking. Wiscasset for notorious Red's Eats line and lobster rolls. Evening and rainy afternoon family time in and around the cabin were among the highlights of our stay in Maine.”

“I already submitted that the location needs to be clearly specified as in Boothbay, not Boothbay Harbor, as there are two streets with the same name, and this one did not appear on Google maps.”

“House was clean and cozy. We stayed for a yearly ice fishing trip, caught fish and enjoyed the experience.”

“Nice little cabin that’s close to town. The only thing is that it’s within 500 ft of multiple other cabins so there’s no privacy. “Private beach” means beach you have to wonder around to find. There’s no water view from this cabin, or anywhere to sit outside and even have a little fire. The walk up to cabin is steep, so just be aware! They’re no railing, it’s just rocks and tree roots, so sort of unstable. The cabin itself is nice. It’s your typical Maine cabin. There’s a tv with spectrum cable……

“Needs a deep cleaning maybe once a month. Dropped something under the couch n had to pull it out. Very dirty. Spider webs thick. Fireplace was full of ash. No wood.”

“Like that we can walk to everything we’ll just about, didnt like the construction that was going on at the hotel, no restaurant in hotel and bit small bathrooms but everything else was wonderful ”

“Great views. House pretty clean & supplies were fine except only 3 coffee cups for 6 adults. VACasa said they would get more cups. They failed, never received. Some lights didn't work & lots of dead bugs in light fixtures.”
