“Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! We hiked to the top of Rattlesnake Mountain and cliff jumped at Flumes Falls. Adirondack River Rental made Kayaking perfect along Ausable River! The host……

“This house was really special and lovely, the location hard to beat. You could easily get to grocery stores and local places we've loved for years, or trot down to Burlington or Waterbury. The water was rare as it's a silt bottom (rather than rocks), and very shallow. Great for little kids, or if you want to walk far out and watch the sunset. The kayaks were wonderful to use to go along the coast on calm mornings. So grateful we were able to make more memories here!”

“We had a lovely one week stay at the Waterline Cottage at ZoLa House. It was the perfect relaxed vacation to celebrate my husband’s retirement and for me to recharge and be ready to go back to school and teach for another year.The cottage was just the right size for the 2 us and had everything we needed including laundry facilities and a cute little dishwasher to minimize chores. ”

“The house was clean and beautiful! It was very comfortable for my extended family to gather and plenty of room if someone wanted quiet time alone or to work. The beach, although somewhat rocky, was nice to sit w a beach chair and book and have your feet in the sand. Family enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. We made full uses of the beautiful firepit area for sunrises and evening smores. Very much enjoyed day trip to both local state parks W/ beaches-Point Au Roach & Cumberland. My sis and I……

“Week long family vacation. Rented a boat nearby at Valcor boat rentals. Lake was low so couldn’t access the lake from the house, but outside of that the house was perfect. Very nice welcome gifts and card from the owners. Was perfect for what we wanted. Very peaceful. ”

“love the type of cabin. It was really cozy. They thought of all our needs, wine, cheese tray, toothbrushes, etc. Many beds for us to sleep comfortably. The bad thing is that there were spiders and flies inside the house, but didn't bother us much. We would love to stay there again, it will be on our Adirondack's list of great places to stay, it was also very affordable.”
