「Room service is very good. Food is also very good. View at the balcony is excellent.」

「It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself.」

「Well maintained. Good customer service.」

「It is an excellent place to stay if you are not looking for a classical style "Hotel". It has a very warm and ready-to-please Staff - only 8 of them to manage all ten rooms. It is a heritage Property with all the quaintness and old-world charm in terms of the building and furnishings etc. It has a feeling of a large Homestay with very personalised Service. Recently renovated and therefore still needs some "De-bugging" I would recommend it if you are looking for a warm and stay」

「Mountain mist is a beautiful homestay experience with comfort conveniences and the authenticity of small village Himalayan life. The family team have recently expanded into hosting more foreign tourists. You can be one of the pioneer guests We were collected in a modern 4x4 and served variety of local cuisine in six days. Travellers willing to leave the chain hotel experience offered in Darjeeling can have a soft bed with fast internet amongst the hills of the tea estate. Bantandam is rural and...

「Everything was amazing and awesome staff but room got extremely hot in evening, reaching unbearable temperatures.」

「Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling...

「Helping Staff, best view from room, of an valley.」

「The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people.」

「Thank you staff of Ging tea house for making my dad’s birthday a very memorable and a special one . He came back home happy and relaxed. The food , the rooms , the staff were very helpful.」

「Overall did the job, not exceptional but friendly staff always helpful. A little out of town but incredible views of the Himalayas. Breakfast was not a buffet for some reason, and no fridge/mini bar in room.」

「We booked the Family Room with Balcony and Jacuzzi for a 3-night stay. The room itself had a very cozy feel and was perfect for a family, and the staff was phenomenal—always friendly and eager to help. However, the room's main selling points fell short of expectations: Jacuzzi Maintenance: The floor jet caps were missing (except for 2 or 3), making it uncomfortable to stand or sit in. Additionally, it took so long to fill that I had to call reception to have it filled manually. As a result, we...

「Clean room , staffs are good, by my side the hotel is best at budget friendly」

「The staff are amazing. Incredibly helpful and kind. Nothing is too much trouble and they have made our onward travel much easier with their suggestions and organisation. We took the top floor room and the views were fabulous. They do warn that the stairs take some fitness which is true, but I never had to carry my own bag.」

「The staff are lovely and helpful and hotel is quite nice. Its location is also very central. The hotel room was quite cold, however, due to gaps between the windows and the window frame. The hotel offers heaters but these are reasonably pricey. I was able to manage in November but I suspect it would be miserable in December and January. Also the hot water supply was inadequate. It took 20-25 mins to heat up and I found that I had to turn up the heat every minute to keep it reasonably warm.」
