“Tout a été excellent. Nourriture, emplacement , autobus. Petite note: nous sommes non fumeurs. Notre chambre était située directement au dessus de la terrasse du resto. Évidemment nous voulions avec vue sur le lac. Nous dormons toujours la fenêtre porte ouverte. En soirée vers les 22-23 heures la fumée des fumeurs de la terrasses est très très désagréable . Nous avons fermé notre porte. Une chance qu’il ne faisait pas chaud.”

“Location can’t be beat- right on the square, Hotel is charming with very friendly and helpful staff. The only problem is with the charm of an old building comes the lack of modern conveniences- namely air conditioning. No hotel on the square will have a.c, thought, and the room does have a fan to help, so it is manageable.”

“Staff was amazing, great location and property. My only gripe is flies, yes flies EVERYWHERE. In the restaurant and room. We left windows open for 20 minutes and counted 12 flies on the room. Dinner, there were easily 10 flies at our table alone. This is common in the area so I don’t blame the hotel. I was told the cows are the reason”

“Very nice view everywhere in the small town. Many choices of restaurants and activities nearby. Supermarkets, souvenir shops, train terminal within walking distance. Western castle style 5 stars hotel, staff perfectly nice and helpful. Not air- conditioned is the only consideration, a bit hot during summer time.”

“Our stay at Beatenberg Resort was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations created by the listing and photos. The property is much older and more worn than it appears online. The exterior looks weathered, rusty, and poorly maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt isolated and neglected. Even our children commented that it felt desolate. One of the biggest issues is the location. The resort is much farther from Interlaken than the listing suggests. If you are arriving with……

“This is a Village Hotel, without pretentions I was surprised by the cleanest room . The bathroom shine. As you look around is probably a old hotel but very well maintained. is charming with an incredible view to the mountaing=ns, I will like to return in fall or winter.. It is amazing”

“This is the low season during Xmas that we know in Swiss , but lack of Staff's to serve customer in this hotel, long waiting for checking out for 25 min, no one in Reception..v poor feeling to wasting our time with No response,.. in the Room , no kettle , hot water u need to go down to the Bar, no coffee machine 2 , why , we do not know ？”

“The hotel is right by the bus stop Jungfraustrasse, you can easily walk to Interlaken West train station—superb convenient. Tbh we booked this hotel last minute so it may be expensive, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel room only had triple type J sockets, and none of my adapters fit! Fortunately, the staff quickly brought us adaptors, which was awesome.”

“Staff were quite cold and at checkout the lady was even quite rude when there was some confusion about in house outstanding restaurant bill kind of shined the entire experience. There was also a wedding there that basically took over the entire hotel and beach access while we were there. I would suggest making sure no weddings are taking place while you’re there. They didn’t even have an extra ice bucket or ice as the wedding was using them all and drained their ice machine. Pretty……
