Guest Access:
We will text you the entry code and Wi-Fi password on the day of arrival once ready. Check in is 4pm and check out 10am. You are welcome to put your luggage on the porch if you arrive early afternoon and we will do our best to accommodate an early check in.
The Neighborhood:
Daufuskie Island is a treasure trove of beauty and wonder, boasting a three-mile stretch of pristine sand, sparkling waters, vibrant shells, and captivating wildlife. Don't worry about finding a spot on the beach – it's never crowded, and you may even have the entire beach to yourself. Take a refreshing dip in the inviting waters, try your hand at surf fishing, marvel at the playful dolphins, or simply enjoy the serenity of collecting seashells. Getting Around:
Daufuskie has a very secluded and private feel with no bridge access by car and only arrival by ferry or boat. You will be able to rent golf carts to use for your traveling and exploring around the island. This means of transportation adds to the unique aspect of a vacation on Daufuskie!

Please note: The island is accessible by passenger only ferry, Daufuskie’s isolation from the hustle and bustle of the mainland provides a one-of-its-kind experience for those looking to truly get away from it all. No worries on logistics, as Daufuskie Rental Group team is dedicated to making your visit to Daufuskie a pleasant one, and we help with all aspects of your trip, including providing contacts to book your passenger only ferry, ground transportation from the dock to the rental, and golf cart rentals.
The Communal Pool is only a short golf cart ride away. It is not included, but you can purchase pool passes at the restaurant there. Melrose Oyster House has updates on pool opening dates for season; pool pass rates and more.
Interaction with Guests:
Although I am not on the island, I do have an onsite property management team, Daufuskie Rental Group, to help you on island or with any questions prior to your stay. You are in good hands as the team lives on Daufuskie and ready to help!
