「We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. 」

「My husband and I came to TImberline for a few days of skiing. If you are looking for close to the slopes this is the place. It was updated and had everything we were looking for. Rita was absolutely phenomenal and responded quickly. Being on the bottom floor, we were worried about the noise above us but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. On a separate note, the mountain comes alive each morning at about 6:30 so be prepared for that noise. It was a perfect alarm clock for us....
