“I arrived before my friends and was greeted by Craig the little kookaburra, seated on the decking rail. When I entered the house the heating was already on! The bedrooms were delicious - extremely comfortable beds with high quality pillows, doonas and bed linen. My friends and I had a wonderful time, relaxing and chatting in the living area. On the first night we had takeaway pizza at home. Why leave paradise! The next night we went out for an early dinner and then came home and jumped in the……

“Well refurbished old property just at end of East Street with 3 large b/rs with king size beds and a large bathroom with 2 toilets, shower and long bench. Lack of a dining table may concern others but was not of concern to our group”

“The house is located close to the Daylesford Business Centre. It was close all services and shops and was accessible to the surrounding region. The house is comfortable and contains everything to make a holiday for a small or large group. A fully appointed dwelling and great base to tour the Central Highlands. The house was well maintained and clean. The gifts provided were a thoughtful gesture. The beds especially were comfortable and provided for a restful holiday.”

“Fabulous house on the lakes edge. Amazingly comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen & bathroom amenities. All bedrooms with ensuites work perfectly for families or friends travelling together. Great walking trails around the lakes just outside the front gate. 15-20mins walk into the township of Daylesford. Lots of stairs over 3 levels so not suited to anyone with mobility issues. A few minor issues that come with rentals (cleaning & maintenance but nothing serious) Would definitely stay again.”

“The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay.”
