It is nothing like reality.

My terrible stay. An apartment with a bad smell, dirty bedding including pillows, air conditioning never went below 83 and we were in a hot climate area. The fans are dirty with dust from years ago. Very poor lighting, some lamps did not have light bulbs. I had to leave after 2 days because this was unbearable including that noise from the construction people.

Nice Place to Stay!

This condo was a nice place to get away for the week with family. The location is great with easy access to everything you could dream of. However, there were a few things that was bothersome. During the stay, workers were grinding/sanding balconies at all hours of the day. It was very disturbing, especially if you were wanting to relax and take a nap. I wish we were made aware of that prior. The condo was beautiful, I just wish it was updated a little more. The furniture could use some more coziness. The key situation was a bit much. I understand it's a hotel and a security risk, but always having to have a key on you was a bit much. Maybe wrist bands or a key card would would in the future. Other than those concerns, we loved the condo. It's spacious, roomy and very clean. I was impressed.

Location

Great location! Great extras and very clean. Went out to balcony every morning and night. Access from 3 rooms! Never turned the tv on once.

Pleasant

Easy from the word go. Beach accessories was a plus. Property was dated but clean and comfortable. Not a cookie cutter condo it actually someone’s home. Doors to balcony hard to open but is an added safety feature if traveling with small ones.

Nice place. Good price.

Property was as advertised. Plenty of room for me and my family. Location and beach access were great. Would definitely stay here again. Would love to see tvs in the bedrooms as i like to fall asleep to tv plus then everybody wouldnt have to watch the same tv. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Beach getaway

Overall very pleased with our stay. Check in was terrific, especially since we were allowed to check in early. Condo was very clean. All the accessories needed for the beach were available for use. The only down side was there was only one TV in the condo living room. I personally like lying in bed watching TV a little before going to sleep.

Unit is in need of work

The owner said no sand in room or was going to charge xtra and there was no broom to sweep and what did she expect you are on the beach. No TV in the bedrooms no washer and dryer in unit. Washer on 6th floor broke had to go to other floor to wash and bring back to my floor to dry cost 1.25 to wash and 1.25 to dry. Had to pay to wash their towels so you could have clean towels to shower with

GREAT CONDO!

We literally booked this condo last minute as our Orange Beach trip was cancelled by VRBO the day before we were supposed to leave due to Hurricane Delta. We got a great deal and stayed 5 nights. This condo was clean & spacious and we loved the property, the pool was great. The views and closeness to the beach was unbelievable! Just gorgeous. After a 11 hour drive it was worth it. The condo was stocked with so many items we did not expect. The owners literally thought of everything you might need when you travel. No need to haul beach chairs and umbrellas. Kitchen was fully stocked. Location is great and close to the Boardwalk and great restaurants & bars. Very pleased with our stay!

AWESOME STAY

The condo is just like the pictures. Very clean. All you need to bring with you is clothes and your toothbrush. We absolutely loved our stay and the beach wasn't crowded. Property manager was very helpful with all my questions. Very nice view. Enjoyed the balcony every day/night. We would definitely stay again! Can't wait to go back!

New Year’s Eve 2019-2020

Property was perfectly located, close to everything. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. No “out of town haters”. We will definitely be back. Only problem was that the owner’s cell phone did not ring when we entered the access code on the condo. Perhaps providing a different number to call for backup would be good.

Celebrated our 57th year anniversary

Enjoyed it very much very spacious really enjoyed the balcony viewing the ocean. Only complaint there was no comfortable Furniture to set on. I would highly recommend this condo and would rent it again sometime.

Large condo on the beach!!!

This condo is located on the 6th floor of the Horizons Condominiums. It's about a 5-7 minute drive to the Daytona parking garage and waterpark, minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, miniature golf, etc. This condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a tub), is very large, and has a huge ocean/beach facing balcony which provides for the perfect location for beautiful sunrises. Although this is an older condo, it was clean and the bathrooms were nicely updated. There is no laundry inside the unit but is conveniently located just outside the door (in the main hall). It's shared with the other owners and tenants on that floor. Cost to wash and dry is $1.25 each (online info states laundry is in the condo). We appreciated the inside garage parking especially on those rainy days. The outdoor pool is of adequate size and allows plenty of room for indivduals and/or families to make memories. Although there are 2 beach chairs, located inside the bedroom closet, to use st the beach ... we felt disappointed there was no umbrella or other beach accessories or toys. We ended up having to rent 3 chaise beach chairs and an umbrella for a day ($50) and borrow 2 boogie boards. The reason for the 3 star review is strictly because of our main complaint: the mattresses in both bedrooms desperately need to be replaced and updated. They're both spring mattresses and were VERY uncomfortable! At the price point this condo is in, we expected higher quality mattresses and bedding! The master bedroom would also benefit from blackout liners and/or curtains, as it receives all day sun which causes the room to be very hot. If you're looking for a larger than normal, beach front condo close to stores and activities, this would be a very good option. Hopfully, the mattresses will be replaced soon!
