You'll have the entire condo to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Country setting 2-3 miles from the River, Luther College and downtown Decorah

The Garden View Suite offers 2000 square feet; an open floor plan for kitchen, living and dining; 3 very comfortable bedrooms; a tiled bathroom split into two rooms with the toilet and sink in one room and a deep soaking tub and sink in the other; free Wi-Fi and Satellite TV; a large patio with a charcoal barbeque grill (supply your own charcoal), portable fire pit (supply your own fire wood), and patio furniture overlooking the herb gardens. You will enjoy lots of natural light during the day and peaceful nights to for rest and renewal. This is an upstairs/downstairs duplex. We the owners live in the upstairs part of the duplex and are available if needed but give you total privacy otherwise.

We are located in a lovely rural setting while still being only 5 minutes from Luther College and downtown Decorah. The accommodations are private, spacious, and very convenient to restaurants, activities, and sites. Ample parking is available. There are walking trails on the property and space for campfires.

Decorah is a thriving community with a wonderful mix of cultural opportunities including theatre, art galleries, biking / walking trails, parks, restaurants, organic foods, seasonal farmers market, education, and outdoor recreation including trout streams, canoeing, tubing, kayaking and fishing the Upper Iowa River.

Beautiful view

We were in town for a family gathering and while we didn’t spend much time there, it was a beautiful setting to come home to at night. Appreciated that we could have our dog along with us. The hostess was very prompt with responses. While we didn’t cook while we were there, the kitchen seemed well appointed.

Overall a fine place to stay, although a bit more cluttered inside than the last visit. The main issue we had was the same as last time - they did not pick up after their dog, which markedly lowered the enjoyment of the yard.

Love everything about this place, even after our second time there. Great location and close to fishing, hiking, biking, breweries, wonderful food and more. Our dog loved it too. Can’t wait for our third stay.
