“Lovely, updated two-bedroom house in a beautiful setting! Situated half-way between two Acadia National Park destinations - the more popular (and more crowded) Mt Desert Island/Bar Harbor and the beautiful (less crowded) Schoodic Peninsula. The house was clean and well-cared for with newer appliances and the convenience of a washer and dryer. Check-in and out was simple and Amy made herself available but we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Would definitely stay again!”

They even had things like a portable high chair and pack n play available for anyone who might travel with little guests and a little dog bed and dog dishes for anyone with a smaller dog. “The cabin was nice and in a beautiful location. Not a far drive to all the attractions. Our only complaint would be the heating system. When it kicked on it made a very high pitched sound that would continue while it ran. It woke us up almost every night due to its proximity to the bedroom. This may not bother most people but we are both light sleepers and feel its worth mentioning. The waterfront is beautiful. We spent alot of time enjoying the view. The bed/mattress was just ok. “This property was a lot of fun to stay at. It’s a charming, rustic two story cottage with plenty of room for the 10 of us traveling together. It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great.
