If you like waking up all night because the guests upstairs decided to walk around the squeaky floors and noisy water pipes then, stay at deer harbor inn. Horrible stay, was up 3/4 of the night. Called the in keeper he didn't do anything about the noisy guests at the hotel.

It’s very basic considering the cost. The bed is very soft and not particularly comfortable with 2 people of different weights. Everything just felt a bit thrown together, which is ok but at this price point we had higher expectations.

Very difficult to find in the dark and no cell phone reception - try to arrive earlier or mark the mileage very carefully. Simple, no frills accommodations with limited amenities but the bed was comfortable and the housekeeping staff was very kind.

We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Harbor Inn lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas Island. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy! Perfect after a jam-packed day of hosting activities for our friends, from Deer Harbor marina to Eastsound, and ending with the best brisket ever at Matthews Smokehouse just across from the lodge. We enjoyed peaceful, quiet evenings and fresh air through open windows all night. Very convenient location when arriving by ferry and exploring all that Orcas has to offer! We'll be back!

Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice.
