「When we arrived at our cabin, we saw that the oven and stove were out of service. There was no communication for this and kinda threw off all of our meal prep. The inside was pretty clean. The lake view was ok. But I am upset at the lack of communication especially because the kitchen is advertised in the listing.」

「It was a beautiful place to stay for our vacation. It had everything we needed and it felt like home. The yard was a perfect size to fit our boat and truck in and having a fenced yard with a gate made it even better for our dogs we had with us. It was peaceful and relaxing and we will come back and stay there again. Lori and David are the best people to work with which made our stay enjoyable. Thank you Lori and David.」

「This was our first trip to Shasta, and was so happy we found Shasta Lakeshore Retreat on Instagram! The house was big enough for our 12 adult guests. The dining table was perfect and we were all able to sit and eat together. The back patio sold us on renting this house, we spent every night there until it was quiet time. 「Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a quick getaway. Everyone loved it. The stairs are quite steep and narrow to the upstairs bedrooms which was a little challenging for some of our group. There also is not a bathroom on the same level as the lower level bedroom and you can only access it from outside, so that wasn't ideal for some of our group. But we made it work and overall it was a great stay.」

The 3-story layout worked perfectly for us and made it easy to separate girls and guys on different floors.
