「Accommodations in this area are limited. So, we felt fortunate to have rented this cabin with it's many advantages and a reasonable rate. Tucked away at the end of a short road, the location is idyllic and quiet. Seated in the rocker on the back porch it's easy to convince yourself you're in an isolated mountain retreat, completely alone in nature. In fact, just a short walk away are a grocery, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. (Definitely do not miss Gunners BBQ; killer BBQ and homemade...

「Perfect base for climbing trip.」

「Cozy little cottage, Perfect stay for the night if ever in the Mt Baker area.」

「Such a beautiful property- some friends and I stayed here for the 4th of July, and we loved it! Nicole is an incredible host- she was so fast at responding and so genuinely kind and accomodating! It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, and we made some wonderful memories there!」

「Owner is friendly and communicative, room is clean and minimal but does lack places to hang things up or organize your belongings. The bed is very firm and the pillows are pretty flat so I would recommend planning for that if it's something that would bother you, or, ask the owner if they have any other types of bedding (I just didn't want to bother them for such a short stay). Otherwise it's great if you're just trying to find a spot for the night.」

「Newly remodeled and clean property. Owner was very accessible, helpful, and accommodating. 」

「Enjoyed our stay.」

「Such a beautiful comfortable place with everything we needed and a kind, responsive, and attentive host. We absolutely loved our stay here!!」

「It was the most relaxing stay we have ever had in a rental. The size of the unit was perfect for the two of us. Sun rise and sunsets we beautiful. The Wagyu steak we ordered was wonderful, just wished there was a cast iron pan to cool it on. No worries I brought my own. Lol 」

「Convenient location to restaurants and downtown. Clean, well kept property. We are return visitors.」

「Hidden little treasure, The little apartment was ideal, the microbrewery was a local sensation, hung out there the following morning prior to our ferry departure. The host was very open to conversation and helpful. Would highly recommend. We will stay again if in the area!」

「Stay was good! Parking situation needs to be addressed as we had to park on the street. The other tenants took up both parking spaces. Didn’t enjoy the giant spider that came to visit us in the bathroom. Overall as expected. The couch in the living room is pretty uncomfortable to sit on. 」

「We enjoyed an extended stay at Cowboy Cabin. It was great being out in a rural area, and we especially enjoyed watching hawks, swans, and other birds in the marsh across the street. The on-site staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Just know that this is an older building with dents and bruises, and the heating system could use a little attention. I'll bet kids would enjoy the cowboy decor and plenty of room to play in the large living room.」

「The property was really nice. It was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. It had everything we could possibly need. The only issue we had, which was very small, is that we didn't know that it had a lower apartment, that was also rented out. I don't recall seeing this when reviewing the property details, initially. Apparently, our dog was a little noisy on the first night and there was a complaint called into the host. Once we knew they were there, we tried to limit any noise for the rest...

「We had a great time! Lots of room. Lovely deck and big kitchen to hang out in. It was nice to have the walk in pantry to tuck all our food supplies in. Also we discovered if you pull from the top of the fridge handle it was a little easier to open it. Be prepared for a little bit of a hike to get to the lake. The built in sound system was nice once my techie husband figured out how to connect his Spotify to it. Bring eye covers if you like to sleep in, windows just have sheer blinds. Or get up...

「Lovely property with great access to the beach flats (staircase). Great responsive host. Disappointed the clothes washer wasn’t available but found a great drop off laundromat close by.Great neighborhood near to center of town. Amazing local shop mart with amazing conveniences two blocks away. Quiet and Beautiful area of B’ham. Definitely this property is top of my local list ! Our dog Lola had a blast !」
