"Grand old hotel - massive lobby with many cosy sitting areas. Room were a little small but nice bathrooms. A bit dark if you’re trying to make up."

New modern design, the rooms are so clean, very nice stuffs, and you feel it like home. If you experience altitude sickness, oxygen will be provided in your room. Oxygen cylinders will be provided if you go outside for activities. Shopping and restaurants are near by at walking distance. "Room external environmt is noisy. Next to army cadet training. At 7am, heard marching as well as 8pm. Worst was no aircond provided, need to open window & noise come in."

The property itself is expansive, set on beautiful grounds with a flowing river and a scenic lawn. I stayed in a stunning two-story detached Tibetan-style cottage, beautifully designed with an eye for detail and cultural authenticity—it was both luxurious and inspiring. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. One of the highlights of my stay was the meaningful conversations I had with them; they shared fascinating insights about local religion and traditions, adding a rich cultural layer to the experience. A truly special stay that nourishes both body and spirit. "
