WOODEN CREOLE HOUSE 500M FROM THE GRANDE ANSE BEACH

Located in lush greenery, at the foot of the tropical forest, 5 km from Deshaies and 500 meters from Grande Anse beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe, this Creole kaz-type wooden house with its panoramic bedroom open to trade winds, its large terrace with integrated sea view swimming pool will allow you to spend a pleasant stay.

Kitchen barbecue grill movable gas fires, bathroom with shower, outdoor WC on deck, bedroom with a 2m/2m bed, fan and large mosquito net, living room under a ceiling fan, the two rooms are independent.

Be careful the spiral staircase to access the bedroom is narrow

The house is equipped with:
washing machine, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, induction hob, microwave oven, towels, sheets, garden furniture, deckchairs, swimming pool.

Prices: minimum 7 days
Low season from May to the end of October: 735 euros per week
High season from November to the end of April: 805 euros

A deposit check of 800 euros will be requested on your arrival at the accommodation and will be returned to you on your departure if no damage has been observed.

Pour nous...le paradis!!!

La maison est identique à la description de l'annonce, pas de surprises. Située à deux pas de la plage de grande anse, bordée de nature, en prime le chant des animaux et le bruit des vagues tous les soirs. Idéal pour se ressourcer!! TRES bon contact avec la propriétaire avant et pendant le séjour, Didier sur place est très sympa et sa femme fait un très bon planteur!! Si vous cherchez du zen et de la tranquillité c'est parfait!! Un seul problème...nous n'avions pas envie de repartir!!!

Scenic location

Nice setting (can see ocean thru cut-out in foliage). No Wifi. Unfortunately, cellular coverage poor with 3G usually 1-2 bars and often only ”E” so internet slow and intermittent when connected. Narrow spiral staircase OK as long as physically fit, but difficult or impossible to get full-size suitcase up stair to bedroom. However, my carry-on was possible. Top bed comfortable with pleasant breeze at night.

Case No 36099647

The charms of this Creole style house will appeal to many. However, nowhere in the property description, nor in the 31 photographs, was it clear that the access to the bedroom was via a tight spiral staircase. This was impractical for my partner's mobility. We made this clear to the owner's representative when he arrived (he had misunderstood our arrival time) and he conveyed by phone this to the owner. We were obliged to find alternative accommodation at short notice and believe we are entitled to a refund. We reported these issues to Vrbo via an on-line chat facility (and were quoted a case number) but so far attempts to phone them have not succeeded. We will try again.

Maison créole exceptionnelle

Nous avions passé un très bon moment dans cette maison. Il a un Flair particulier. Une grande Terrasse avec piscine en pleine nature - magique!!! La chambre à l'étage supérieur dispose d'une "climatisation naturelle"pour ainsi dire. Les fenêtres ont des ouvertures et laissent entrer une légère Brise dans la pièce... tout simplement divin. Nous sommes tombés amoureux de cette maison. Merci Véronique et Didier pour un Accueil chaleureux.
