Everything was very good except the bar at the pool was not what we thought. There were no cupboards or doors covering the openings and no little refrigerator.The house itself and the pool were great! Location was also great.

Perfect 50th Birthday celebration week!

Cannot say enough about this beautiful home. We had 18 adults stay for a week to celebrate my 50th Birthday. The location was perfect, within an easy walk or golf cart ride to the beach. We loved the outside covered porch and pool and spent almost everyday out there. The house was beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. There is plenty of room to spread out. Our only recommendation would be to clean up the landscaping around the pool and add a solid surface sidewalk to the outdoor shower, But I suspect the new owners have plans to do this very soon. We highly recommend this home.

Thanksgiving fun!!

This was the perfect place for a family of 20 for thanksgiving weekend. Although it was cold outside we didn’t notice because we gathered around the large living room and kitchen area watching sports, playing games and cooking delicious food. The children loved the huge beautiful pool! We had to fight with the children to get them out the pool in the evenings.. I would say we had a problem trying to get the elevator to work but it wasn’t a problem because as soon as I called they sent maintenance over immediately and it was fixed. We had so much fun and we’re searching dates to return in April..

The house was perfect for our large group. The kitchen is big and has every convenience you could possibly need.Walk to the beach is easy. Golf cart is a nice bonus. Highly recommend Life Aquatic. Destin Dreamers really responsive and easy to work with

We had 14 total family members. We loved the pool and the location of the house. The kitchen was fabulous!! There are a few maintenance issues that needs to be addressed. The downstairs ac condensation was leaking on the floor. Maintenance did come by to check but still needs further repairs. The landscaping lights in the pool area were out and a few lightbulbs were out in the pool. But overall the house was clean and very nice. We would highly recommend and stay again.

Our stay was fantastic! The house delivers as promised. A few minor repairs are needed but nothing that interfered with our trip. It is a beautiful and spacious house and the kitchen is well stocked which is very helpful. One of my few suggestions would be to have towel hooks or racks in all of the bathrooms.

Fantastic Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Life Aquatic. The house was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and had all of the amenities we could possibly need. We had 19 people...and it was VERY comfortable. The weather wasn't ideal at the beginning of our trip...so, spending time in the beautiful home was still a treat. The pool/hot tub is HUGE and the outdoor space is fantastic. Additionally, it's just a short walk to the beach and centrally located. I would highly recommend this house!

We loved this house!! The location was great. Golf cart was a big plus we used it a lot. The house has so much space we were never crowded. The kids and adults loved the pool and spa. Only suggestion we would make would be to have more coffee cups, bar glasses and the bar stools were very unsteady. One of them we really couldn't use thought you would fall backwards. All in all we loved this house and would definitely stay there again.

We loved Life Aquatic!! The pool was awesome!! We used it every day along with the hot tub. The house had more than enough space for all of us. The location to shops, restaurants, and the beach was great. The golf cart was a major plus!! We used it every day to run errands and to the beach. We would definitely recommend this house to everyone!! I would suggest a few sharp knives, we went out and bought on, because we couldn't find one sharp enough for what we needed. Also more coffee cups, and barstools are a little unsteady. We would definetly stay here again, it was a great trip!!

Perfect for our large group of adults & kids

The house was amazing! The best feature by far is the giant pool! We had 14 kids in our group and they had the time of their lives in the pool! We choose to heat the pool and it was worth it. The adults made great use of the table in the pool for games and the hot tub is spacious and ideally located (gets the afternoon sun!). The pool bar was pointless though, it doesn’t have any power (no fridge, no ability to use a blender) - the space could be used for something better. The outdoor kitchen space is very nice and located perfectly in the shade. The grill was pretty greasy so it flamed up and the exhaust hood didn’t vacate the smoke - so beware, set burners low and be prepared to set off the smoke alarms! The house is huge, plenty of rooms and beds for the approved 24 guests. The 1st level has a huge bunk room but be aware, that level is very warm, its 5-10 degrees warmer on the 1st floor than the 3rd for some reason. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook meals every night. We loved the giant island and the many seating options. Two downsides of the kitchen are the fridge doesn’t have an ice maker (there are 2 on the 1st lever but none in the kitchen) and the oven/cooktop is giant and high end, but the center griddle didn’t work at all and the exhaust hood made an awful noise. Access to the beach is a short 3 min walk and completely manageable even with all the kids we had! The beach is pristine and worth every second of the walk and then some!! There were a few sand toys and balls. Having a golf cart included was an exciting perk but there really isn’t a place to park it at the beach and it only seats 6 so if you have a big group, you have to take turns! Overall we loved this house and would book it again in a heartbeat. Our only feedback to the owners are to get the kitchen oven and grill repaired and if you want to spoil your guests, provide beach chairs, hooks in the bathrooms/bedrooms for hanging towels, and maybe laundry baskets in each room for ease of carrying things between levels. We did call in the maintenances crew for a few issues on day one and they were fast and helpful!

Great House near beach

This 3 story house is beautiful with plenty of space for a big family. The set up is great from the first floor where it has access to a huge pool with a bar and kitchen set up. The second floor has plenty of space to accommodate a big family. We had a total of 19 people and we had plenty of space and we were able to sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner all at the same time. The house beds are very comfortable. We had a minor issue with the grill it was not working but as soon as I reached out to Destin Dreamers they brought us a brand new grill within 30 minutes talk about great customer service. We appreciate the quick response (especially since it was a Sunday) and you following up with us to make sure we were good. I highly recommend the house and using Destin Dreamers.

Family Vacation

Such a beautiful home in Destin! If you rent this property you will not be disappointed! My family and I really enjoyed our week here. The kitchen is so large and loved the open concept. Great huge table for everyone to join around for family dinners. As stated by another reviewer, bathrooms really lack the use of hooks for hanging and drying towels or wet items. Shower pressure is a little low in some but there are sooo many!! The elevator is an added bonus but guests need to remember to close all the doors on other floors to function properly. Beautiful outdoor space and pool. We did make the mistake of heating the hot tub! Didn’t realize it would make the pool a hot tub as well! Management was great about coming out and letting some water out and adding cool water with the hose. It was better after a day or two. Grill really needed to be cleaned out underneath which addressed our issue with the smoking and burning. Happy my brother-in-law figured that out! Bedrooms are comfortable and love the en-suite bathrooms. Great addition to have the golf cart but wished we didn’t have to move the cars to place it in the garage to charge. That’s an easy fix. We rented an additional one for the size of our party. It’s so much easier taking them back and forth to the beach. We really enjoyed Miramar Beach down the road in front of Pompano Joes! Great drinks and parking! Great walking trails and easy walk to the beach as well. So many things to explore in Destin! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Destin 2022

This is a great house and the pool is fantastic. The pictures of the house are quite accurate. As much as we loved this house, there were negatives. The double washer and dryer combinations are great, but the dryers are hard to reach. The addition of a step stool would have been helpful. The refrigerator on the first floor was wonderful since we were a group of 21, but instructions regarding the use would have prevented a service call. The bunk bedrooms don't have ceiling fans so it was necessary to buy a pedestal fan. The cleaning company does a great job of surface cleaning, but the pots and pans needed to be washed before use along with replacing some of the kitchen utensils. Even with the negatives, I would stay at this location again. As property managers, Destin Dreamers was very good. They were helpful before we arrived, and responded very quickly with any repairs or questions.
