"We spent a lovely week here in September. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking olive groves and hillsides. Marga was a delight, providing us with tomatoes, peppers and water melon from her garden. She gave us lots of useful info about places to go and see. "Stayed mainly to break up our journey from the Portuguese coast to the Mediterranean coast, but we were very pleased we stayed in the old town and at this hotel. They were both excellent. Beautifully appointed hotel, spacious bedroom and bathroom with lots of character. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room, unfortunately the restaurant was temporarily closed but we were able to find one within walking distance."
