Unique property up in the jungle of Mal Pais, so you will be best suited with 4wd car if you plan on driving. A sense of privacy and luxury while still surrounded by the outdoors. "

"First, we arrived by car and the road leading to Lagarta Lodge was rough to navigate, but once we arrived we were thrilled. Daniel greeted us in the lobby with a special drink and a hot moist cloth to was our hands. Our room had a panoramic view of the ocean and sunset. Our balcony was furnished with chairs, a table and a hammock. There were 3 infinity pools (one with a bar and one was a hot tub). Dining on site while watching the sunset was nothing short of remarkable. There was a complimentary shuttle that could take you in and out of Nosara. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach and the easy walk along the extended, sandy beach was very enjoyable. Staff were very prompt and attentive."
