「Very cute & cozy, great place to stay for anybody looking to explore the hiking trails in the area」

「Cabin was very clean. There was a basket of treats welcoming us when we entered the cabin, very thoughtful by the host. Cabin was nice and cool although it was quite hot outside-in the 90's. Beds were comfortable, our daughter enjoyed the loft. I liked the early mornings sitting on the back porch drinking my coffee, the back porch even has ceiling fans to keep one cool. It was way to hot(for us) to use the fire pit. All we had to supply was food, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, a good...

「Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it.」

「This was the perfect home base for our family while visiting Garden of the Gods and the Shawnee National Forest. Everything was exactly has stated and shown in photos - just even larger than expected! The home was wonderful, and we appreciated everything provided including coffee and firewood for the firepit! Thank you for sharing your home with us!」
