Armi Kuusela was chosen to Miss Universum 1952. Finnish people were so proud of her because her father was from Finland even tough she was born in Canada Ontario. It`s told that her father chose her name because of the beauty of lake Armijärvi.

「My husband and I rented this wonderful vacation house in early May. We enjoyed the solitude, hikes, bird & butterfly watching plus we made several easy day trips to see other parts of Finland. During our stay we visited Turku, Hameenlinna & Tampere. The weather was nippy so we enjoyed watching light snowfalls several times during our stay. The snow disappeared, but the peaceful solitude remained. We never heard a car, plane, phone or television the whole time we were there. The sauna / shower...

「Wir waren mit Freunden für 10 Tage in dem Haus.Das Haus ist sehr schön, idyllisch gelegen und man hat von der Terrasse und dem Saunahaus aus eine super schöne Aussicht auf den See. Auch kleinere Wanderungen kann man direkt vom Haus aus starten.Die Ausstattung lässt nahezu keine Wünsche offen und es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war jederzeit nett und unkompliziert. Wir können das Haus jedem empfehlen und können uns gut vorstellen, auch irgendwann nochmal...
