“Australian family with 8 and 11 yr olds. A very mixed experience with staff hence that part of the review: Naturalist guide Abilash and birding was amAzing. Guest relations manager very attentive. Restaurant staff borderline unfriendly. Lots of miscommunication from bookings person that led to a lot of avoidable stress and triple check if they have availbility during peak times even if Expedia says they have plenty of tents avail. Superb location / cabins and we Loved kayaking on Periyar. Early……

“OMG what a wonderful trip/adventure. The boat cruised around the back waters for about 4 hours. First before we cruised they served us a wonderful lunch. Then while cruising we stopped at a fish market to buy us whatever we wanted to eat for dinner. I bought 6 giant prawns that they cooked up for me in addition to the other chicken dish we had for dinner. Delish!! Vacation time well spent.”
