「 This was a perfect place for our "young-at-heart" girls' trip! The 4 bedrooms, (3 upstairs and 1 on the main level,) were great. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. The house has a lot of character with a huge dining room table, a large living room downstairs, a family room upstairs, and a nice little seating area at the back of the house, so there are lots of spaces to spread out. The downstairs bathroom has a nice shower, and the bathroom upstairs has tub/shower....

「Comfortable home not far from Main Street. This lovely house has been restored with historic charm plus modern conveniences. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and we would have liked to stay a little longer. Owners are extremely attentive to their renters and assist when needed. We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood with so many stately old homes. Thank you for being pet friendly.」

「Very nice place to stay. The vicinity next to the busy road, while a little unsettling at first, was NO problem at all. Convenient to museums and restaurants with easy walks. Something I comment with 90% of vacation rentals…..Kleenex??!! Why can’t a box of tissue be thought of by property managers? Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Widow Douglas’ .」
