"We had an extremely relaxing four nights at the cabin and highly recommend Lake Settons. The cabin was very close to the lake,it was peaceful and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. We would definitely stay again."

Guetter le feu dans la cheminée, prévoir des provisions car il faut aller à Saulieu pour faire des courses, épier les animaux qui vivent autour, profiter des étoiles car il n'y a pas de lumières autour. Pour une amoureuse de calme et de nature comme moi, c'est idéal. A revivre à une période où les végétaux font partie du décor!"

"A wonderful location, magnificent view over the lake. Perfect for watersportactivities, biking and walking. The house has a full inventory, including a bbq outside with garden furniture. We can really recommended this stay!"

"We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"A spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking a canal. There is plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy walks along the canal. The owners, who live next door, are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for families."

"La villa est magnifique, propre et fonctionnelle. Il y a de quoi s'occuper, billard, jeux, baby foot, piscine, jacuzzi, etc. Malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu droit au soleil et à la chaleur du coup nous avons bien profité du jacuzzi. Je recommande."

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Fijne, ruime tuin. Huisje is wat verouderd, maar prima voor een paar nachtjes. De bedden slapen heerlijk, netjes opgemaakt. Jammer dat er geen foto van de keuken op de website staat. Toilet en badkamer zowel boven als beneden. Bovenverdieping alleen te bereiken via een trapje aan de buitenkant. "

"It didn’t say anywhere that this apartment is part of an old age home. The pictures of the communal spaces for the property are for the use of the care home residents. All of the property facilities are clearly for elderly residents. The shower room is designed for wheelchair users. I’d understand if the property was advertised as being designed for disabled people, but it is just because it is part of a care home. They are clearly just renting out rooms they’ve been unable to sell to elderly residents. Most of the things in the room had been bought from Amazon Basics, so you have an idea of the level of investment and care going into the property. The apartment was filled with bugs crawling all over the walls and windows and we couldn’t wait to leave. Not exactly an apartment, and certainly somewhere you’d want to spend as little time as possible."
