"A comfortable one night stay. Staff were great. Food was lovely. Bed was super comfy and everything was clean. A welcome letter on the bed was a nice touch; it detailed that the hotel windows could not be changed owing to conservation planning rules. However, rust/ black mould in bathroom could perhaps be tackled, but this is a minor detail. Overall, we found the room to be great. The addition of food treats - peanuts and jelly beans- was a thoughtful inclusion. Free car parking too behind the hotel."

"We had an amazing 3 nights at the Swan. From the time we arrived to when we left the service was excellent. We were offered a drink from the bar when we arrived and on departure a coffee for the journey, never have we had this while staying in a pub! All the staff were friendly and very helpful, offering to help with our bags and any other needs we had. Our room, The Dolebury, was in an annex set aside from the actual pub and was beautiful and very clean. Complimentary water, tea and coffee and toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfasts were cooked to order and were delicious and plentiful. We also ate in the pub 2 evenings and the food was very tasty and good options. We would totally recommend this pub set in a beautiful tranquil location, though also very easy to reach places like Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Glastonbury. They were also super helpful at getting my husband’s wedding ring returned which he left in the bathroom when we checked out!!"

"Very helpful and friendly staff both in the bar/restaurant and on the front desk. Good location close to the motorway but no motorway noise at night. Clean room and any issues were very quickly resolved. "
