"I booked online and it was paid for (confirmation received). On arrival with a 2 month old baby, no one was there to attend to us. After 2 hours of waiting at the property, we finally got to call the owner and property manager, they denied my reservation even though I showed them proof. Needless to say, we had to go search for another place and paid overprice. We had to look for somewhere. Very inhumane. I am hoping to get a refund from Expedia. "

"To the owner of this apartment: please consider hiring a different care taker! We arrived in Parbo after a long bus journey and was looking forward to a good stay. First impression was excellent - nice quiet street with amazing tall trees hundreds years old, the building looked modern. However we were not able to raise the attention of the staff, there was a note on the door saying we should call a number - but how do we do that if we don;t have cell or wifi connections in a new country...

The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and understanding throughout the entire process. Communication was smooth and professional, and they showed genuine care despite the situation. "Op een mooi locatie in Paramaribo ligt dit ruime en schone appartement. De communicatie met de eigenaar was zeer goed en issues werden direct opgelost/opgepakt. Met de camera's voelde het ook zeer veilig en met de airco in de kamers was het zeer aangenaam. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien."
