"Ours was a five night stay in The Old Paper Shop. Located on a busy road however night time noise was minimal. Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). Kitchen was very well equipped. The key safe check in process was easy and efficient. Very much an old world charmer with lots of character, which was as I expected, cosy but perfect for two. "Best cottage we've stayed so far. Clean and very well stocked with anything you might desire. Superfast internet, Netflix included, beautiful area and dog proofed patio to let the hounds smell fresh air without escaping.Comfortable bed, cozy bathroom. The building was to be lived in permanently and that shows in each and every part.The hosts are incredibly welcoming and we had some sparkling with scones and freshly baked bread waiting upon arrival."

"Great location in the heart of Winchcombe but tucked away and private. A well equipped cottage with washing machine and dishwasher, lovely big bed, comfortable lounge and a courtyard garden. There was a somw noise from the pub garden two doors down, particularly when they had a live band on, but it didnt go on too late. The bath was one of those with an accessible door on it so you can walk in and a hoist which made it a little strange , but shower was fine. Great stay. Will stay again."

"I think the hotel lacks AC, and it was very hot during our stay. I believe the fans in the bedrooms were old and not as efficient as we have now become accustomed to. I understand that the disabled car park is available as close as possible, but it is still some distance for those with mobility issues. Enough moaning we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Brand new hotel in a convenient location - easy walking distance to the station and the cathedral. Parking arrangements in the nearby Forum multi-storey worked well. Staff especially helpful while getting used to the new facility themselves. Quality of food excellent both at breakfast and for all-day dining in the ground floor open plan restaurant. Prices above average but value for money in terms of quality. We came here for the Three Choirs Festival and were pleased to find a good quality hotel within easy distance to and from the Cathedral. We were given an accessible room with additional facilities to accommodate someone with mobility issues. 5 Stars all round."

"We stayed in a large refurbished room, comfortable bed, large bathroom super show and nice toiletries. The breakfast was lovely there could be a better bread choice selection and it gets busy and the staff are at full stretch but it didn't detract from their professionalism. We used the bus and if you plan and get the right ticket it works saves messing around looking for parking spots.Thoroughly recommend."

"Fantastic location and surroundings Was disappointed with our room for tha fact we upgraded with a pet with us To find out we didn’t get our upgrade because pets were not allowed in that side of the hotel So Single beds which I was very disappointed with But the front desk could give us a free breakfast But to be honest, would rather a double bed I ordered But all in all staff are fantastic Easy parking Clean room Beautiful place to visit"

"Obviously it’s a great hotel but the staff went above and beyond. From the night receptionist when we pulled in on Friday night after a nightmare 7 hour drive, to the manager (I believe…) who rewarded our toddler’s politeness with a bubble blower toy, we couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay. We will absolutely be back, and soon!"
