“Last year, we stayed in The Shanty by the Creek, but this year we needed a bit more room and decided to book The Boathouse. Once again, we were not disappointed. The Boathouse has an even better view then The Shanty, though it was very beautiful and unique in its own right. I can highly recommend either place, just depending on your needs. I love sitting outside on the deck in the morning and drinking my coffee, listening to the water and watching the wildlife. The inside is so cozy and you……

“Much more than we expected. A little difficult to find but GPS was accurate. Very peaceful. Excellent showers with lots of hot water. Kitchen was very well supplied, Pure tap water. Loft is only for young people. Great lights. Very secure. Excellent hosts with great initial tour of property and amenities. We want to return next year.”

“No TV,No WFI, No Privacy , no shades on windows and doors. The bed was hard and so were the pillows. towels were nice”

“The Loft is above a medical office but as we were there on a weekend this was irrelevant. It had covered parking for two vehicles and was close to the center of town. You do have stairs to negetitate to the loft apt of course. It was cool (A/C worked great) and was beautifully remodeled. The washer/dryer were handy as we were bike riding with the BRAT organized bike ride and it was a hot 3 day ride causing sweaty clothes. The apt had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay.”

“This pet friendly property was a lovely spot on a small pond with lots of fun birds to enjoy, and plenty of room for short dog walks. The host was friendly and responsive, and the rooms were clean and well supplied with plenty of linens and a working kitchen. We enjoyed our stay, and exploring the surrounding waterfalls and historic sites.”
