“My family slept comfortably in a suite with 1 queen, 2 twin beds, and a a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. The hostel has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The common area has a fully functioning kitchen and access to fridges that you can store food in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend!”

“You have to take some stairs to enter the property but that is normal in the “cerros” of Valparaíso and the staff is ready to help you with the luggage. They also offer a safe parking place which is not that easy to find in Cerro Alegre. ”

“Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. However, taxi and small vans can reach the hotel at closer range. But still there is a distance of about 30 metres to walk through. However, the hotel staff and……

“Boutique 17 is centrally located and the downtown was walkable especially with the funicular. We arrived late at night and the check in was very easy which was appreciated after a long flight. The room was very clean and we had a great view. The only concern we had was the breakfast the buffet was very limited and you had to eat outside even though it is winter in Chile and very cold. People were sitting around in toques and winter jackets. ”
