“My husband and I stayed in this idyllic Shephards hut whilst on a trip to look after our Grandchild during the day time . After running around after a 4 year old all day , it was a welcome sanctuary to come home to this beautiful dwelling with its lovely fairy lights and delightfully warm hot tub to recharge our worn out bodies for the next days shenanigans . Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and have a few days for ourselves to explore the beautiful surroundings . We will definitely……

“We had a lovely few days staying at the cottage which was very convenient for local sight seeing. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and lovely large rooms to spend time relaxing as well as enjoying local walks. Would recommend to everyone.”

“Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay”

“Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend!”

“We had the most wonderful stay at the Manor, the photos do not do it justice! We were blown away with the size of the property, SUCH comfy beds, the most wonderful house, everything we could have hoped for and more. We're already looking at when we can book again. We stayed as a group of ladies, friends and family for a civilised hen do weekend, we didn't realise the pool was only open May - September, however Maryam was very helpful and we were able to use the pool, We were delighted with……

“We were in Yeovil for a few days to visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum. It had everything we needed for a self catering stay but was also close to shops and some restaurants. It was just like the photos and felt quite indulgent. I'd happily go back there.”

“The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . “Charming, historical barn. A clever use of a cosy space. Spotless. All amenities you could want -but top tip, look for cutlery in the sideboard! Futon perhaps not as comfy as one might hope. But, overall, a lovely stay.”
