“This cottage was the perfect getaway for the two of us and our adult son. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the (private) lake and being off-grid. For the most part, we were the only ones on the lake which was amazing. Fishing was awesome and provided a couple of meals. “If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities, this is not for you BUT if you are looking for solitude, peace and escape from city life go for it. It is a true cabin experience, does not come with sheets. Blankets are dated so walk with your own as I am not sure how often they get laundered. The outside of the property was worth the money and overlooked the flaws of the cabin. There is no cell reception period! No two bars, one and it was on and off but it was a blessing because it forced……

“We spent a week at this wonderful cottage with our 3 young kids and it was so nice. The dock was great for fishing, the sand beach was beautiful and perfect for the kids to play. “Ian and Joan were amazing hosts at Camp Minnehaha. Their camp store was well stocked, despite it being the last week of high season - we were able to purchase a bag of marshmellows to.roast on the communal fire. The shallow sandy beach was perfect for our young ones (5 and 2) and the cabin was outfitted with everything we needed to make the week worry free. “Two families stayed (total 10), lots of room to sleep, kitchen was nice and big. Property was big and lots of privacy, store right there for anything needed. Price of wood is ridiculous ($28/bag), don’t buy any wood, lots of dead wood in the surrounding bush, just drag it out and burn. Enjoyed our time, thanks.”
