「The Lightwell is a wonderful little hotel in a great location. Easy walk to all of downtown Hood River. Everything was clean, well taken care of with friendly staff. Rooms are small with no onsite parking, however parking was close.」

「It was clean. Lady at desk was a little short with me. Also, didn’t understand why I had to come back in the morning & wait for them to check my room before she would refund my deposit. Not a huge deal but we did wait til last minute to leave so waiting on that made me late for next event 」

You get a great breakfast, it's clean, there's a pool, rooms are large! For a family of five we always struggle with hotels having only two beds or a 4 person limit and this room offered two queens, and a pull out bed! 10/10 will stay here again. 」

「We stayed at The Dalles Inn which is connected to The Rayland but is the less expensive option. We highly recommend. Super clean. Great bed and pillows. You can tell it’s an older hotel the has been remodeled a few times but it is well done. We would definitely stay there again. Greg at the front desk is amazing.」
