"So I got there fairly early, had no sleep and an event that night and beyond grateful they let me in a room early. I also had a girl moment with air conditioning and they came to help right away.
Only two items, room floor was bit dirty but again they got me in early so possibly rushed and the parking was bit of mess. Not sure if all the big truckers were workers from motel 6 or this hotel but they took over parking lot and couldn’t even park straight. I doubt the hotel could do anything about that but I’m just lucky I got a spot coming back so late. Overall it was better than expected"

"I liked the little details the most, the place is clean, the kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook or bake. It’s a home away from home. We will definitely recommend this place and be back for another stay. The owner was easy to get in touch with and responded immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"THE BEST VRBO WE HAVE EVER RENTED — Honestly! This rental experience was so uniquely superior to any other VRBO experience we have ever had that I almost don’t know where to start. The host, Stephen, is EXCEPTIONAL. Communication was fast, frequent, and full of relevant information. He sent a two-page document ahead of time that answered every question we could think of. Once we walked in the door, there wasn’t a single question we didn’t already have the answer to.The house was perfectly set up for the exact vacation we were looking for: a quiet place to be together as a family and have some FUN. The kids spent hours on the rope swings. We went on a kayak picnic. We played games in the garage every night — ping-pong, basketball, air hockey, pool, and even a retro arcade game machine that let us show the kids what video games were like back in the day. They played Donkey Kong and Frogger for hours. My husband and I used the racquets to play tennis in the mornings while the kids hung out in their spacious double bunk bed rooms and snuck gumballs out of the huge gumball machine when we weren’t looking. The house was stocked with everything, and the little touches made a huge difference: K-Cups, a welcome basket with s’mores, and condiments and spices already there. The Lake Livingston House is a new summer tradition for us. It is truly a place where memories are made!"
"Ok for a low budget hotel, but….as a woman traveling alone and at night, security was very concerning. There was a strange man in the (very small) lobby when I arrived, not necessarily a problem. However, the clerk verbally asked for my phone number without offering a piece of paper to write it down. I didn’t want to repeat my phone number with a strange man within ear shot who saw me arrive alone and after midnight. Clerk was apologetic when I made her aware, but it did make me anxious for my stay."
"Hi, this was a super clean house with many awesome features. The back yard was enchanting with the fire pit, docks & boat house. Very calming & quiet setting. Lots of nice details and touches to make your visit memorable."
"If you want stringy threadbare towels this is the place for you. Breakfast was a joke with no variety and nobody checking quantities. At least 30 people had nothing except for toast or milk less cereal, Bathroom was not very clean and had moldy caulk around tub along with splintered door frame and baseboard. Never again!!"
"Clean and comfortable and the staff were great!
My only complaint is the AC unit must need Freon because it just didn’t really cool the room. It was stuffy and warm when I got there and the poor AC just couldn’t keep up.
Otherwise great stay."
