Competent and friendly staff makes guests feel at home. The temperature in the room, higher than in an average hotel, feels good when you come back from the cold desert at. night. Good parking inside secure lot. Plenty of food at the buffet. Douz is the gateway to the Sahara. Ride a camel in the morning, ate one in the evening.
Although the hotel is quite big, the architecture is still interesting. The inside courtyard, with its gardens and 2 swiming pools, compensates the small rooms.
As for food, like Tunisia in general, it is no big deal...
The dinner and breakfast on buffet was good and the waiters were very good.
I did not like to wake up at 4:30 because someone was waking up at that time to leave the hotel for some excursion I think and I did not liek the cockroach in the bathroom discovered the next morning
