Benchmark Downtown Santa Fe hotels

"The location of the hotel is excellent—just a few steps from the Plaza. The two restaurants are good and the staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Our only concern was the lack of safety bars in the shower. We are both in our 80’s and did not feel safe. But our overall experience was good."

"5 Stars: LeAnn and Alan are so nice and interesting to chat with. The property is older and quaint. I enjoyed it immensely. Very clean. There are limited but accessible covered parking. The shower water was hot immediately. The provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion were not at all offensive. Very cute decor. 4 Stars: The room was tiny. If I were a larger person, I would not be able to walk around the bed. The bed was creaky with the slightest movement, the refrigerator was a tiny box atop a wobbly table. My leftovers were too large to fit in it. Very noisy. That said, it did storm last night and we were on the top floor. Even though, It's one of those places that you'd have to get used to "old house" noises to have a restful night's sleep. 3 Stars: Breakfast wasn't as expected. The burritos were limited 1 per person and reheated, Not fresh. They ran out of orange juice. There were only 8 people in the dining area at the time. I feel like there could have been better options for the price of the room. Quantity was minimal and quality, fair. I think the cost could be lower to stay. "
