The hotel room we were allocated was at the back of the building off a really bad smelling musty corridor which seeped into the room. The room itself, other than the smell, was good. Clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly. Food in the restaurant was great. We asked for our bins to be emptied and for fresh towels which didn't happen.

It was great being out in the beer garden in the hot weather. Staff were super friendly/helpful! Room was very clean. Only negative feedback was the shower pressure in Room 8 wasn't particularly strong so hard to rinse hair, plus shower head is fixed to wall which didn't help. Will be back

I stayed here after walking down from Birmingham along the canal. I was greeted with a warm welcome, a nice room and some good pub grub. Bed was also very comfy. This morning's breakfast was amongst the best I've had staying at similar inns, which set me up great to walk to Worcester. For walkers doing a similar route to me, I'd recommend getting the bus from Stoke Prior to the pub, cutting out walking alongside a hairy 60 road. You can then get the bus to Droitwich and pick the canal back up very easily without a truck in sight šŸ™‚
