"The hotel was ok. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part (ice and ordering food at the hotel restaurant.) The breakfast was great with lots of different options. My suggestions for this property involve the wi-fi signal, air conditioning and signage. Unless you’re in the lobby area the wi-fi signal was unreliable. Unless you speak to the front desk the air conditioning is subpar. You have no control of the temperature in your room. This was the most disappointing part of our stay even after requesting a colder temperature several times at the front desk. My family often woke up throughout the night because of how hot the room had become. The restaurant served the same special every night and even though we loved the cheesecake with hazelnuts and berry cream we felt there should have been more options. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the pool area was very nice. Finally, I suggest better signs and/or more signs showing directions to the hotel entrance. Several taxi drivers kept stopping at the restaurant door that is closed and there is no access to it because they couldn’t find the front entrance to the hotel. Overall, things were alright and there is room for improvement. While breakfast was great, dinner could be better. While the hotel lobby is nicely decorated you needed to be careful walking to the pool area without tripping over a mountain of towels. I honestly don’t think I would return just because of the a/c and wi-fi issues."

"Everything was terrible from check in where we were sent to some horror film looking room up 3 flights of stairs to a desk manager who obviously sent us there after our original room was not available, and I could not understand the ineptitude, though I was always polite. The place smells and the hallway carpets are dirty and stained, there was even dog feces in the hallway The room bedsheets had curly pubic hair in them . The bathroom floor had dried urine around the toilet. The bathtub had dirt in it and was clogged It took 5 minutes for the water to drain This room was so dirty that we peeled off the top sheets and slot with our clothes on There is no way this is a 4 star hotel I"

"I have stayed in multiple 4-star hotels in Italy, and this hotel does not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star property. The photos on the website appear to be outdated, as the hotel did not look as shown in the pictures. Location is also not among the best. In most cases you have use two lines, short trips though. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was good as well."

"Had high hopes here - stayed 3 nights in the mini heatwave. Hotel looked great, different, nice pool area…. But in all the heat the air con didn’t work. Reported it to reception who said they’d look into it. Second night - still didn’t work. Reported again - asked for room change. Told not possible although hotel wasn’t full. This time it kind of cooled a little bit - just sufficient. We were with friends and their room was chilled fine. Breakfast looked fine but we didn’t take it - very expensive Pool area was good - bar really expensive there - more than any restaurant we ate in, and the airport. Also - on the last morning before travelling to Como we decided to laze by the pool… only to be told it was closed because they were filming. No warning - Not Acceptable! They did let us in but bar closed, couldn’t make any noise and couldn’t access the steps to the pool so couldn’t get in it. Waste of time. Finally - the hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro and tram - especially as one tram line isn’t working. Summary - no I would not recommend this hotel"
